BIKE LANE UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN

About an 18" width has been striped as a bike lane on Wessington leading to Whitten Elementary School.  This lane is not safe for any cyclist.  These signs should be removed.

The sewer grate shown in this photo is reasonably level with the pavement.  Most of the grates on Wessington are several inches lower than the pavement.  If a cyclist hits it, they are very likely to fall into the road and traffic.
